This classical style tamp is reproduced from an original imported from Wales which was recovered with a metal detector in a Welsh harbor. The surface is intentionally left the same way to reflect the weathered finish of the original created by years in the harbor. This tamper has a broad base and is suitable for larger bowls. It stands 1 1/2 inches tall.
